6 MAY 68

This raw camera footage is from the U. S. National Archives and is 21 minutes of mopping up patrols just outside the Airborne back gate to Tan Son Nut Air Force Base during the May Offensive.  In the street are two dead NVA and one dead civilian.  The civilian guided these troops, which were part of a battalion of NVA, through the streets of Saigon to their targets.  I am guessing that most of the M-16 fire and machine gun fire in this film is for the camera rather than for the enemy.  Included is occasional footage of an American is a brush hat, whom I surmise to be part of the film crew.  This film has an intermittent audio track.
